New locale for Skeptically Drinking this Friday

[ September 3, 2010; 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. ] The FFW Board voted to change the venue of our Skeptically Drinking for now.  It’s still the first Friday of every month, which means this Friday is the next installment.  It will, however, now be at Calhoun Street Soup, Salad & Spirits.  We’ve scheduled the meet-up time for 8PM.

Zoo Day this Sunday, August 15th

[ August 15, 2010; 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. ] I just wanted to give a quick reminder about tomorrow’s FFW Zoo Day.

We will be meeting out front at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo at 11AM this Sunday.

It’s a family event, so feel free to bring your friends and family.

It’s expected to be hot tomorrow, so make sure to bring your sunblock.

August meeting tomorrow, and a busy month ahead.

“What I Believe” July meeting coming up Tuesday the 13th!

[ July 13, 2010 7:00 pm to July 14, 2010 4:00 pm. ] Hi everybody.  I wanted to remind everyone that our July meeting is fast approaching.  It is this coming Tuesday the 13th instead of our usual Wednesday.  We had difficulty scheduling meeting rooms for a few upcoming months, and July is one of them.  It will be held in Meeting Room C at 7PM.

Announcing the first monthly Skeptically Drinking group

[ June 4, 2010; 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. ] We are pleased to announce that the FFW Board decided we finally start the long awaited Skeptically Drinking group.  We got the idea from the Michiana Skeptics, who seem to be full of good ideas that we will probably steal borrow from in the future.

FFW May meeting this Wednesday

[ May 12, 2010; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. ] Just a quick reminder that our May meeting is coming up fast.  It will be in the globe room in the main branch library at 7PM this Wednesday.

[ April 7, 2010; 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. ] Thanks to the vigilance of our own Chris Jones, we were able to score 14 tickets to go see The God Debate: Is Religion the Problem? where Dinesh D’Souza will debate Christopher Hitchens at Notre Dame on Wednesday, April 7th!

Collision event this Friday, the 26th
