Wonderful shows!
I was quite surprised to hear one of the callers state that he was against homosexuals, but supported the idea that they should be allowed to marry. He obviously saw that keeping religion out of politics is ultimately beneficial to both camps. I wish there were more people like him who could see that.
Another caller shared the tragic story of how his ex-wife was forbidden contact with her mother for twelve years because she (her mother) was gay. I think that is a perfect illustration of the social destruction that occurs when bigoted ideology is promoted and/or enforced.
The Valentine Day pareidolia/pale blue dot segment was a nice way to end the show. I had no idea there were ‘hearts’ on Mars.
