FFW’s Sunday Coffee Klatch is just a relaxed, informal meet-up for the group to enjoy some fine coffee, good conversation and a little bit of camaraderie. There’s no need to be a member of FFW either. Anyone who fancies spending their Sunday morning shooting the breeze with a bunch of friendly, caffeine-buzzed freethinkers is welcome.
There’s no set topic for discussion, but if you have a recent article or item in the news that you’d like to discuss just mention it in comments with a link so we can all check it out ahead of time. We would love to meet and mingle with all the new visitors who came to our August monthly meeting. Click here for the Firefly’s website.

I was there at 10 and choked down that acidic sludge that passes for coffee at the Firefly for 10 minutes. I said the hell with it and went to Hall’s for some decent coffee. Did anybody else show up?
I was a little late, arriving about 10:15, and it seems as though I was the first one there. Sorry to have missed you!
Acidic sludge? You wound me, sir. Had I known you preferred weak, watery month-old Folgers, I would have brought you some river water from the St. Mary that runs right past my house. I’m pretty sure that’s what they serve at Hall’s, anyway.

I updated this post with the Sept 27 date as the next coffee Klatch.
@Andy W could you help us come up with a clever sign that stands up on a coffee table and identifies us as FreeThought Fort Wayne? I am thinking something like a small picture frame…. It was a good suggestion from Jeanette (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly.)
@littlejohn- sorry for no being there right at 10. I was there at about 10:15 and will do my best not to be late again and yes we had a good turnout. I was foolishly up to late the night before.
