FreeThought Zoo Day! (updated)

FreeThought Fort Wayne’s first day at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is Sunday, August 30th at 10 AM.  Meet by the ticket booth before we pay to enter.  Children are very welcome of course.  My favorite animals to watch play are the lemurs.  They are so cute.  I am also a sucker for the tigers and bob cats.

What is your favorite animal at the zoo?  Have you looked into that animal’s specific evolution?  Feel free to share your knowledge about your favorite animals and adaptations with the group.  Moreover, it will fun to enjoy all the sites with like-minded freethinking friends.

Cost is $12 for adults and $8 for children.  Food and rides are extra.  For more information and directions click here.

If the weather seems bad, check this post before heading to the zoo to see if we will postpone the event.

    To Andy, sorry to say that they have removed the prairie dog exhibit. I dig the lions. The males get huge.

    Thanks Dave, I updated the meeting place to the ticket booth outside. Thanks for the heads up on the praire dog exhibit being removed.

    To all that didn’t make it. It was a blast. Thanks to Chad for making sure we made it to the shows on time. Who ever thought that we would see ostrich playing with wildebeest. See you next time…

    I agree. It was a blast. I have some pictures to share. Maybe I should get a flickr thing going… I hope we do more activities like this more often.
