Meetup with August Berkshire

August Berkshire, vice president of Atheist Alliance International and the former president of Minnesota Atheists, is on a tour meeting Atheists and FreeThought groups.  Minnesota Atheists has several hundred members, their own radio show “Atheist Talk,” and they have a public access television show.   August has hosted the radio show several times and has appeared on Christian radio stations supporting Atheism and he is now on tour for Atheist Alliance International.

This is a great opportunity for us to have a discussion about how secular groups organize and stay active.  August can talk about a wide range of topics but I love the idea of having the meeting be an open discussion.  I view this as a guided discussion on what potentially FreeThought Fort Wayne may become.  Please participate in the conversation.

August is speaking for Atheists Alliance International and he will be speaking for CFI Indiana and other secular groups in Indiana on Monday.  August will be interviewed for The Enlightenment Show which we will tape before the meeting in the afternoon.
