June Meeting (New Location and Guest Speaker)

Author Mathew Barron will be joining us for our June Meeting and we decided to change locations due to the small size of the only available room at the main library.  We are now going to meet at the meeting room at the Shawnee Branch Library. (directions below)

Secular City Limits

Secular City Limits

Mathew Barron is the author of “Secular City Limits” which is an Orwellian look at this country’s future (from the perspective of Indiana) if the religious really took over all politics.  It is a futuristic look of our country without the separation of church and state.  Mathew is going to read segments from his book and then we will have a group discussion about religion in politics.  He did something similar with CFI in Indy.  You will be able to buy his book at Henry’s for $8.  We are not permitted to sell books at the library.  Mathew will be interviewed earlier in the afternoon for The Enlightenment Show.  This should be a great meeting.

Here is his website and you can download a pdf section his book here.  I will write a review online shortly.
