The Evolution of Religions -Jared Diamond
Pulitzer prize winning author of “Guns, Germs, and Steel” and “Collapse” speaks about the evolution of religion and the evolutionary forces that shape religions and cause some to prevail and others to wane. I found Jared’s contrast of morality between tribal religions and nation state religions fascinating. Tribal religions are not concerned at all with morality while nation-state type of religions depend on it.
