Saudi Woman Killed for Using Facebook

If you’re reading this, you are reading a blog. Blogging, social network sites, YouTube. It makes one really appreciate living in the U.S. in spite of all of its faults. I personally take the freedom of the Internet for granted.

This story is proof how dangerous it can be when a government and society is ruled by religion.

Well, just elect John McCain for president, and I’m sure we’ll be well on our way of restricting and controlling the internet- the last bastion of free exchange of information.

I would include the libraries and many of the dedicated librarians, but our government is already working to effectively neutralize the threat of bookworms.
